I'm no parish sympathiser but the amount of people jumping on every comment is pathetic. The hol is a horrible read at the moment.

Pay £430 odd pound for a season ticket and with a home record of 18 wins, 8 draws and 34 losses. Where's the value. The last time we scored a prem goal was 3 managers ago.

Appreciate the repeated references to years gone by, standing on the terraces in the championship and lower leagues etc etc - I have been there too, since the late eighties, but for me personally, my sense of pride in the club is what is beginning to be questioned. And that's not based on five games, it's about two years.

You melt Dan, nobody is arguing that we are in a s*** position and Steves made mistakes, but to s*** on Steves reputation and ignore the past 5 years is ridiculous. How much were the season tickets when we had Ambrose and Dans on the field fighting for survival every season in the championship?

nah Willo being young isn't an excuse for these f***ing morons. They are either new fans only supporting us as we are in the prem or morons one of the two.

I'm not one for calling our supporters "Morons", all I was saying that these young fans might not have been around to witness the dire days of paltry crowds and lower division football and as such their opinions are formed from fairly recent experiences.

Certainly not the "Good old days" !

Still extremely good value, if you support Arsenal its £1000+ and they still moan.
Buying a season ticket, is a bit like buying a lottery ticket, there is no guarantee your going to win.

Blinkered by the past. Steve saved the club 7 yrs ago with 3 other fans. 5 games no goals, let's all throw a party. I went when we're s*** but what kind of attitude is that. We used to be s*** so anything a bonus.

Apart from Hol radio and his own tweets Parish needs to stop communicating with fans....just put out statements. It's a noble thing to try when you include fans but ultimately it doesn't work.

The mental ones always have the loudest voices and they never represent the majority.

Absolutely NOT.

My message is that there are many on HOL who have endured very challenging times in the lower divisions before paltry crowds, not forgetting of course the dreadful administrations.

Compared to those days we are in 'Clover' by being in the PL and all the benefits that brings. Admittedly our results this season, and towards the end of the season have been far from ideal and we face significant challenges but it is relevant to compare where we are now and where we were in yesteryear.

He is starting to demean himself as well as the club with these poorly-judged and self-serving tweets. I think it is really hurting him, as a seasoned PR man, to have lost control of the message and to have been shown up as out of his depth in so many ways.

That he is being so defensive even when unprovoked as with the above tweet tells me he does know he's messed up and isn't dealing with it very well

Steve saved the club 7 years ago, then we stayed in the championship, then we got promoted to the premiership and stayed for 5 years whilst nearly winning the FA cup beating all the big guns throughout that period of time, building the best squad i've ever seen us have. Now We lose 5 games without scoring and now Steves not the Messiah he's a very naughty boy. Very logical mind Dan...
