Sammy Lee may have just had enough and wanted to go anyway. We are all feeding off small bits of gossip and putting together our own version of events.

Charlie Nicholas. Why are we even taking any notice of the utter toilet that he is spouting? What does he know? Nothing. Poor mans Adrian Durham, and that's saying something. Well sadly he has a platform for his nonsense and that platform is Sky TV who basically own the Premier League.

Yes it's possible Sammy wants to make himself available and get himself away from a chairman making highly questionable choices of manager, especially just after Pardew.

Supported Palace for over 69 years since the age of 7 and have seen all the ups and downs and will probably see many more ups and downs before I go up to the big football club in the sky. |

I am ashamed and embarrassed to be a Palace fan at the moment. What has happened over the last few weeks has been an undignified and embarrassing shambles. No one can possibly think Palace are a well run and led organisation after this. If I was Roy I would leg it now. If he thought his England time was a low point he may get a shock after a while at Palace. Something ridiculous will surely happen. What was De Boer supposed to do? His appointment took weeks so his preparation time was too short. He inherited poor pre season fixtures which left us under cooked. We waited a ridiculously long time to make signings and ended up failing to get a 2nd striker and starting the season without the required players. Wilf and Kabaye were injured and RLC missed the last 2 games. If we had had them and Sakho for all 4 games we could easily have 6 points and everyone would be happy. Now we have to pay god knows how many millions in compensation to FDB. Ok so Hudderfield and the first half against Swansea were horrible, but Liverpool and especially Burnley looked much better. It looks to me like FDB was let down by the board and was in truth unlucky. Frankly 4 league games is an absolute joke. If it was player power that brought FDB down then they should hang their heads in shame too along with the board. I appreciate this is in our hearts, but we cannot blindly ignore ridiculous behaviour and defend them when they have let us down so badly. Roy is a lovely guy. A statesmen along the lines of Bobby Robson. Success on the pitch would be nice but what would be good is if he could teach the powers that be at Palace how to behave in a proper dignified manner. Then we will be moving in the right direction.

Then we will be moving in the right direction. The search was too long but don't you think Frank wanted the Southampton job? He lied to the board on "gradual" etc so would you believe him or his agent that he wasn't interested in Ston? You're not Roy. Roy has Prem experience so will know how difficult this can be. He's evensaid we may not actually pull clear until Christmas. What was Frank supposed to do? Not go against what was agreed. The transfers were a shambles but did you hear Fran say anything in the press about any of it? We've heard his lack of input and no press comments. His remit was a long term plan, not a short one. That's the whole point. He rushed into it, changing as muh as possible to get it done asap, putting us at risk. If it doesn't work, he walks away. If he didn't treat Huddersfield the way he did and Swansea 1st half the way he did, oh and bringing in and needing Kelly after isolating himhe may have had the points that are now so critical with the injuries you mention. Who's fault? Comparable to Pardew. When it's hard, make it harder. No "results over style" at all. More anadvertisement for himself. When luck isn't on your side you do what you can to grab some back and lower your risk. He didn't, or wouldn't. He didn't respect the prem, cpfc, opponents, employers he spoke to in interview and it sounds like wasn't getting on with many people from top to bottom. People like that in workplaces don't last very long. It sounds like he was acting as Van Gaal before he'd achived any more than winning the Dutch title which Schteve Mclaren managed to win. He ended up at the wrong club and wasn't prepared to change his approach and that isn't a strength whatsoever.

He has rectified it quickly which takes balls when it's all played out in the public eye. It's just a shame SP isn't in sole charge. Clearly the whole thing is more than just about losing 4 games.

Not sacking, extending, not sacking, being pressured into doing so by the Americans as it turns out, and then to hire Sam. I don'tknow who ignored Dyche and decided on Frank but Parish was getting carried away with Frank.

I can remember a heavy percentage on social media saying along the lines of "please God, not Dyche". Maybe one of SP's major faults is that perhaps he listens to the fans to much.
