I believe that HOL would have been far happier if Sakho, RLC, Luka and Zaha were in the team.

One suspects Dyche is licking his lips !

Obviously Sakho, RLC and Wilf aren't fit, so you can't blame FDB. Luka is an odd one but he hasn't been brilliant this season.

Not that there is a massive choice but long term out of form players are still getting picked to start. I can see on three if not one or two more. Ward, Puncheon and Dann.

No reasonable excuses for that after over four years in The Prem.

Bet we win today though

Just heard Pardew on Sky that centre halves are 'gold dust' these days.

Happy days!

NOT blaming FDB just advocating that the many on HOL would be far more comfortable if the players mentioned were in the team.

Luca has been the worst player in the squad by a country mile this season, I am surprised he lasted this long without being benched!

Looks a decent team to me. Would have preferred luka to puncheon. No real option to ward, but does OK in a back 4. if cabaye and macarthur are back to there best it's a great partnership. Lee at least does keep possession well, which will help. Highly thoughy of youngster on the bench. Not really sure what people expect with the players available.

It is how you are used though.
Play to his strengths and he will do a great job for us.
Whatever formation you have to play to the strengths of the players available.
Let's see what happens

Has he been any worse than puncheon?

As someone said above what exactly does puncheon have to do to not start?

I don't want him starting either.

In theory (I say this on my knees, looking to the heavens, hands clasped together) Lee is a neat and tidy player and could link well with Cabaye and Puncheon's simple roundabout style. McArthur has found some goal scoring form (for Scotland) and Schlupp is faster than a whippet on coke. Not the team I would have picked but there are some massive absentees for us.

Maybe, Lord, Allah, Buddha, Obi Wan, just maybe, Burnley will underestimate us and we will win.

Puncheon, may you rise from the grave. Without spinning in it.
