I've always been against Roy Hodgson but I'd take him right now. I think he'd do ok for us

I don't know what it is, but he just doesn't feel like the right fit for Palace. I was quite pleased and optimistic when he was first appointed, but now, even though it's only three games in, I wouldn't be sorry if he left. The players don't seem to be motivated at all under him, irrespective of the change of tactics.

I wasn't and it was because I was negative, doom and gloom and had nothing good to say about palace. Same as Bexleydave. Makes me laugh. Well it would if it wasn't so pathetically bad.

Sounds ominous for FdB. Personally I think its better for Palace if he does get the chop. Hodgson is a safe pair of hands and would steady the ship.

As regards compensation to De Bore, swings and roundabouts as Hodgson is readily available now and would steady the ship.

Dutch clubs would probably be very interested given his 4 titles at Ajax.

He's not really all that highly rated here in NL. Walked into a ready set-up squad and system that he let degrade. Sure Ajax won 4 titles, but that was mainly due to the existing club structure than Franks efforts. There where no tears when he left. Lack of personality and flexibility leaves him out of favour here.

Most people should with about the 17 decent players we have to play in a formation and positions they can deliver in. However, I'd take a safe pair of hands to avoid another c0ck up.

Which was what I was saying in different ways, yet I was pilloried by those who advanced the argument that Ajax hadn't won the title for a few years before FDB joined and haven't won it since.Sometimes the facts don't tell the whole story.

Pretty much every Ajax fan that I know warned me that FdB wouldn't fit at Palace or in the EPL. I figured that they were just blowing smoke up my ass, but I guess they know him better than I do.

Wouldn't blame him if he did.

Hasn't been backed and the squad at this club is not a premier league squad.

Piss poor from the owners.

Can't see any manager keeping us up and to be honest we've just been very lucky up until now.

It's enough to keep us up if Benteke doesn't get injured and all are played correctly with 4 at the back unless 3 clicks rapidly, which I doubt without wing backs and 3 high quality CB's.

Yes, I would agree with that.

"4 at the back" implies 2 central defenders.
We have 6 centre-halves (If you include Delaney) and we really only have 1 striker.
Talk about an imbalance !
