You may find this interesting. Different to Benteke. Maybe getting his name changed to Sako/Sakho, etc is harder in Italy ;-)

Seems a bit of a gamble in that he is not in the first team for his club, and would have a steep learning curve in the PL.

West Ham reportedly considering him: [Link] Have said for years I can see Babacar coming to Palace although he is a risk. Either going to be an inspired buy, will push Benteke as he is a similar type of player or another Sanogo but with an expensive price tag. Also a few news reports today of Cabaye going to Fiorentina: [Link] Wonder if there is a posibility of a combined deal. We let Cabaye go early, survive the rest of the season without him but get Babacar coming the other way Edited by Mwncisee (14 Jan 2018 7.06pm)

We really lack guile in midfield without him

Usually YouTube clips make a player look phenomenal but with Babacar he comes across, at best, as distinctly average (similar to how Benteke is playing now!). Surely Freedman et al can find a gem from another European team?
