He'll probably be best remembered as the only manager in Premier League history to publicly use the word 'balls' in reference to his players having no testicles. What a balls-up, Parish. No Pulis or Allardyce to get you out of this one. Oh, and welcome, Dougie. Edited by Huswell Mills (28 Aug 2017 12.20am)

Utter nonsense he's not going, just another bs twitter rumour...the fact is he doesn't have the personnel. we have players in our squad who are Championship level at best i.e. Hennessy, Ward, Kelly, Puncheon. Who i may add should have left the club ages ago. Cabaye has just returned to full fitness, (why he didn't start Saturday) and we've lost our only consistent creative outlet for the past 3 seasons to injury. Yes it's been a poor start but i believe we will turn it around once we have a fit squad and reinforcements of quality. Every fan knows the issues with our squad, unfortunately these issues have been exposed early doors. I dont blame Frank I blame the utter dross we have in our squad and the lack of investment so far this window.

I don't know if FdB would be the best or worst manager in Palace history, but I'm Palace and the day he signed he became Palace too. Therefore we're supposed to have his back, he's one of us and he's been let down terribly if he's forced out so soon. Let down by a lack of transfer activity and lied to by a board that told him he had the backing of a very loyal bunch of fans.
