They have a great manager. I really wanted him to come to us if they had lost the play off final. Unfortunately they didn't and we ended up with someone who wants us to play in a style that emphasises our lack of ability on the ball.
We must revert to 4-3-3 or better still 4-4-2 and play to our strengths rather than our weaknesses. It would also help if we bought another striker and a midfield player.

I am not going to get carried away, but that was equally as demoralising at the 4-5 against Swansea, or the 0-4 against Sunderland from last season.

I will be hoping for a reaction against Liverpool, but it seems we are going to make it hard for ourselves again this season.

This result is as bad as the 0-4 against Sunderland last season. What's the chances of the Dutch Uncle being sacked by Christmas and Big Sam being brought back to save us.

Yep, that's football and it will happen again, to many teams. Look at Chelsea today, lost at home to Burnley and get 2 players banned for up to 3 games.

However, what's really 'embarrassing' are the screaming children on here complaining that they didn't get their toy of choice today - a home win on day one of the season.

I am afraid that FDB really miscalculated/was completely unaware of how a newly promoted team from the Championship play their first game in the Premier League - with passion,desire and a commitment to win.
