Which is why maybe Valdes would be a good shout as he's on a free. Would prefer a loan with option to buy on a young talented keeper but don't think we'll find one. So recon will go cheap to cover that base. We have two that can do a job and will pick another one up for not much damage to the bank balance but I very much doubt we'll spend anything like £10m on a keeper in this window. If Burnley get relegated maybe we'll be in for him next season...
