I really dont get the Mutch hatred on here...

I agree he's not the standard of player we need to be aspiring to nowadays, but he's never let us down by having an absolute mare of a game unlike others in teh squad.

In fact he's a tidy player who rarely gives the ball away. He's certainly a confidence player though and as such would be probably suited elsewhere...but not because he's s*** as some would have it...just that we as a club have outgrown him.

Good to see Nya Kirby going, I understand he has great potential, hopefully he will impress.

Not sure on the exact facts of his Palace career, but when I have seen him I cannot remember him doing anything.
Can you remind me of a good game he had.?

I still live in hope that Sako can come good. The first few games he played for us he looked like a tremendous signing so there's obviously some ability in there somewhere, maybe FDB can sort him out, who knows?

Agree with Alan here.
He has never scored for us and never assisted which is an absolute joke for a central midfielder.
He has played 1665 minutes for us according to Transfermarkt

Serious waste of money and when i see him coming on for palace it actually depresses me.

Genuinely giving the all the senior players a chance, and I don't see what's wrong with that. Who knows - if he can actually make the likes of Sako and Lee into useful options then we'll save a bit of money on transfers.

no we're not. We're screwed when Benteke gets injured. He's a strong lad.

Was thinking the other day,and hopefully will not put the mockers on it,but Wilf is one strong lad to take all the fouls and kicks on him.
Very rarely injured

Agree with most of what you say elky but thought he'd scored a couple or more for us.. didn't he score against Chelsea away when "the special one" was still manager?.. I think we won 2-1..

I agree about mutch, but let's face why does Johnny Williams get put on a peddle stall by some Palace fans and his contribution is 0 goals also. Neither are prem standard in my eyes.

...and that's the point...the fact you dont notice him...doesnt mean he's played badly..he's a 'water carrier' breaks up play and moves the ball on...very unfussy just the job that the likes of McArthur/Matic/Kante do (although admittedly not to their level).

He does the simple things well...it just seems to be the in thing to be seen to slate him...seemingly because others do.

Compare him to the likes of Sako and Lee who continually turn possession over and he's worth far more to the team than either of them.
