As a Young London Millionaire footballer, I'm sure that Andros' wants and needs and available living options will be very different from your average man, who living up in a peaceful posh area around Newcastle would be a welcome change from some of the areas around SE London affordable to them.

We'd still have a good starting XI without Andros in it: Ward/new signing at RB, Wilf RM and Schlopp/PVA and LB/LM. Still don't think we should sell him though.

He's moved around a lot in recent years so maybe he'd rather settle down now he's getting a bit older and if I was a millionaire in my 20s I'd certainly rather live in Surrey/ London than the north east. Each to their own though.

I expect he spends a lot of time in North London.

As I would if I had the dosh and freedom to do so. Head and shoulders above South London. As much as it pains me to admit that.

Very much depends on their playing situation at their respective clubs and what Newcaastle can offer them both on the playing side and terms.

Also there are some lovely places outside Newcastle where footballers live IE Ponteland,Northumberland.

And of course Newcastle play in front of 50,000 passionate supporters.

So a few factors involved regarding transfers from London to Newcastle.

The same 50,000 who turn even quicker than Andros. He has been there so will know the downfalls too.

Enjoying getting up later and not having someone who knows better than me (apart from the missus of course).

Yeah, if you value being in the company of pretentious pricks. I much prefer south London. Only part of the city that is down to earth, although gentrifiers are doing their best to change that.

Don't get me wrong, I'm a proud south Londoner but there is a huge chunk of SL that actually needs gentrification. Still a lot of s***holes about. As I've got older and appreciate the finer things in life I want nice, cool and trendy places to go out. I'll take the rough of the pretentious folk with the smooth of the good things to do any day of the week.
The beauty of playing for Palace now days for footballers is that they don't have to live anywhere near South London's s***holes anymore. They can opt for the upper echelon of London's postcodes.
Saw Wilf bombing through Croydon in his Aventador the other day and just thought "why would you even still be anywhere near Croydon when you've got wealth like that!?"
Horses for course though I spose.

Unless Wilf is going to spend a fortune rehousing all of his mates to better areas he is going to have to return to his roots to see them as I doubt whether he is going to make any good friends in the upmarket area on Purley that he lives in

As upmarket as the Webb's Estate is. The actual area of Purley itself is a bit of a run down s***hole now. Mind you, he probably gets the best organic groceries delivered fresh from the farmers market and Harrod's food hall, so he won't have to pop down to Purley Tescos for his food.

Surely the idea is to keep your best players rather than sell them. Townsend proved that he can be a game changer in the second half of last season. Who would we replace him with?
