No, you fcuk off and improve your English. You should take criticism on English constructively.

That's funny!

I do all of my hol-ing on my phone either on the crapper or on the tube when I get wifi at each stop. An example being this thread which I wrote on the last tube home half cut, and this comment which I'm writing whilst having a sh*t. Either way I stand by my original point, the grammar nazis need to get a life.

I think the the latter applies to you...

You're asking me what it's all about, and I can't tell you because I don't know what's going on myself.

It's also an issue of respect, especially with names.

My phone seems to have auto incorrect on it where it keeps changing words that I typed correctly into other words that I didn't mean or want to type.

unfortunately I often don't notice until after I've pressed "send"

Thank Dog for auto-correct on phones.

What I love about you Willo is the way you have adopted the 'new man' philosophy so successfully.

Hold on! Is ironic teasing still OK?

Spelling is one thing people will get wrong for several reasons.

Using 'would of' and 'could of' and 'ares' when it should be 'our's' should be highlighted or how do people ever know? I blame a lot of tv for this spreading. Soaps, most ITV and muppets on reality tv. Possibly teachers or the teaching arena for not correcting the little darlings because they can't be wrong. Maybe some parents as well.

Or do we gradually demolish the English language and have people coming into the country having a better command of our language than we do, because that's how it'll be.

Yep, you do meet foreigners with better English skills than some natives. I suppose it's apart of human nature that, outside of valid conditions, some people are just too lazy to deal with the basics if they can get away with it. Nothing wrong with making mistakes of course, everyone does, it's more an attitude of mind.

It's like those who laugh about being bad at maths as though it's some badge of rejection of which to be proud.

Only in a modern world could literate people be known as 'grammar Nazi's'. I imagine that schools are now full of whiney kids sitting in English Language classes who, when asked to spell something correctly, lead with the retort 'but you're such a grammar Nazi sir'.

Too right

The way almost everyone on here spells Fraizer Campbell drives me to distraction. The guy has been a loyal servant, tries his hardest and joined the club in July 2014. Over the past three years people have given him so little respect that they haven't even learnt his name.

But I also suffer regularly from the wilful attempts made by spell checkers to derail all of my thoughts before they get to other people.

True. Not sure about that apostrophe though.
