But he did and he's had his chance. I never like to retrieve objects from my dustbin once I've thrown them away so "no thank you".

My god look how fish I caught. You guys seriously can't take a joke of course he wouldn't come back, nor would I want him back. He destroyed the team spirit, made the team unfit and never learnt from his mistakes.

Obviously won't happen, literally 0 chance. But he's better than Monk so here's to hoping. Otherwise, no thanks.

Schmidt
Dyche
Mancini
Wagner

All options should be considered before.

Just reflecting the views of some on here regarding the opening post.
I have made a few comments on here, nothing with me at the forefront, yet I get accused of all this 24-carat tosh. You just don't know me, do you ?

Someone please get rid of this thread, before someone from the Mag sees it.

If you go by statistics then Pardew had a better win rate than Allardyce and any other of our previous 7 managers bar Pulis.
Had he had better coaching staff
(e.g. like Sammy Lee) I doubt if we would have sunk so low that he had to be sacked.

I am not advocating his return but I think Parish's task is a formidable one. We need a young go-getter with the number one priority of sorting out our abysmal home form. I never understood we were so bad at home with the best and most vociferous crowd in the league behind us.

Definitely none of the old school (Hodgson, etc) or anyone not proficient in English (Matterazzi)

But Pardew started with a fit team and Allardyce started with one which Pardew had f***ed up beyond all recognition, and had to fix it before he could do anything else.

Oh, so it was all Millen's fault; I should have guessed. Pardew had every opportunity to choose whom he wished to assist him; if he chose poorly that's just another confirmation of his lack of judgment. It was his ill thought out attempt to "transition" into something we weren't, added to his blasé attitude to fitness, that did for him.
