Wasters is a bit harsh. Most of them gave their all when coming on. Truth of the matter is they are not good enough for the Premier League same as J.Williams average Championship player at best.

As you say and we can't include player in the squad on the sole criterion that they're "academy graduates".
Bexley Dave Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing! "The most arrogant, obnoxious bunch of deluded little sun tanned, loafer wearing mummy's boys I've ever had the misfortune of having to listen to" (Burnley forum) |

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Jonny Williams new deal' by kenbarr I like the kid but to further his career. He should move on. Riddle with injuries but even when he had the chance he didn't look like a prem player.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Jonny Williams new deal' by kenbarr Doe anyone know when his contract was due to run out? I can only guess it must be within 12 months, and CPFC don't want him to run his contract down. It still doesn't mean that he figures in future plans.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Jonny Williams new deal' by kenbarr Might no be a massive risk by the club, probably not on massive wages as he hasn't had a chance to prove if he can play in the top league. We have all seen that he has the ability the problem has always been injuries holding him back, up until this season Jack Wilshire has had the same problem but a change in coaching/medical staff seems to have helped him turn a corner. The optimist in me is crossing his fingers, could be a good option for No.10 role IF he can stay fit

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Jonny Williams new deal' by kenbarr He's apparently on 10k p/w. If we can get a couple of million for him, then it's worth holding onto him until we get a decent offer.
