Was at the match today, although we weren't good their keeper still had more to do than Hennessey who hardly touched the ball, not his fault with the goals.
Benteke hit the post and Romero made a good save from Luka M free kick.
Wilf was fouled virtually every time he took on anyone.Don't know what some of you expect at the end of a difficult season.

Mostly agree, except for Punch who has a certain class in midfield. He just gives the ball away too easily sometimes and because of the position he's in it's almost always dangerous! But he's been a good captain. I just hope Scott Dann and Pape Souare have a chance to get back to their best over the Summer.

Biggest need is a keeper upgrade. Or two.

Agree with your views on punch, desperately need someone to make him fight for his place.

Well I certainly expect Wilf to get kicked by defenders who don't know how to deal with him fairly. I counted 16 assaults on him resulting in 12 free kicks and 4 ignored; and just 2 yellow cards for them.

Expected more from a team who were up against some 'Novices'.
Apps this season from Man Utd's starting eleven :
Castro 1, Tuanzebe 5, Fosu-Mensah 4, Mitchell 1, McTominay 1, Harrop 1. And some were making their first ever starts for the club.

To be fair Willo they would be good enough for any mid table premier club, that is why they are at Man U.

They were unknown, they were fast and they had a point to prove. We fell for Jose's bulls*** when he made them out to be s***e. You don't put on a United shirt if you're s***e. Unfortunately.

Considering the way we started the season & the state that Pardew left us in I think we've managed to pull off a huge escape. Confidence was totally shot & while it took SA a while to get us going again we've crossed the line. With Sam's experience our transfer activity & pre-season work will be a massive improvement on last years & we can get enough points on the board to avoid this panic towards the end of season.

The Willo of Doom strikes again, nothing about the lack of protection for Wilf then? I forgot you will never criticise the ref and just have a "downer" on the team. Let's not be too harsh, they were unfit and lacking any confidence when SA arrived, have a go at AP but not anyone else.

People also forget that we were not at full strength,no Cabaye,Townsend or Sakho, trouble is we cannot attract the really good young talent that the likes of United are able to welcome.

I wasn't being over-critical at all.
Having seen the Man Utd line-up, and subs, I'm sure many, if not the vast majority of our supporters would not have expected us to be so abject in the first-half and go down 2-0 in the end.

I fully appreciate the impact that Allardyce has had since his arrival.Well done to all.

Given the season we've had it just shows the 'best league in the world' is a load of bollix. If you can be that awful for months on end and still finish 14th

But you are always critical of the team, but always praise referees.I think that somewhere in the not too distant past forecast our relegation, since we avoided the drop you have been somewhat quiet, strange way of being a Palace supporter.
