Ryan Fredericks of Fulham if we can get him. Think he's still got 2 years left on his contract though. Shouldn't cost that much, probably around 5 mil. He's had a terrific season in the Championship and might be ready to make the leap to the top flight. Ward has been caught out many times this season, his positional sense is lacking and his crosses can be woeful at times. Mind you he's got plenty of mates in that regard! Would still keep him for cover though if he is replaced in the starting lineup.

I am reliably informed that it was Kit Symons who signed Fredericks for Fulham.

EFA

P.S. That's probably far more truthful, and far less troll-like or pompous.

If you come to a fork in the road, take it.

So I take the trouble to see when Fredericks was signed by Fulham then proceed to list Fulham managers to see who was manager at the time ? Total hogwash.

In actual fact I mentioned Fredericks to someone (Whose name I will NOT reveal) and he told me who had signed the player for Fulham.

Rest assured I am NOT a "Troll" and those who know me would never deem me "Pompous",

I only mentioned 'Kit Symons' due to his connection with our club.

Trippier for me, great little player, he's got a fantastic turn of pace, would definitely be an up-grade on Joel Ward

More than 50% of wingers become fullbacks in their late careers (Cafu, Zambrotta, Javier Zanetti, Antonio Valencia, Milner, Florenzi, Oscar de Marcos, Layun, Schelotto, Srna and many more )

Why would he sign for us. He's about to become 1st choice where he is.

I didn't think for a minute that we would have a chance of signing him, I was just stating who I'd like. Blimey we couldn't even tempt Arsenal's 3rd choice when we had a decent manager!!

Navas confirmed leaving city

We should make a play for him, but I don't fancy our chances without a manager.
