if you're up 2-1 or 3-1, he's the perfect substitute. simply a great striker if you don't need to score.

The fact the he went to the pub after last Sunday I think says a lot about him. Good luck to him, hopes he does well at his next club.

Everyone's talking about him being released. Has he been?

I wonder if anyone ever gets described as "the perfect goalkeeper if you don't mind conceding goals". First person to say Hennessey has to buy us all a cake.

Certainly has improved in his time with us, becoming far less cocky and began working harder and harder with each outing, his general skill level however hasn't improved so much. A useful player to chuck on for the last 10 minutes in safer situations as he'll chase down the ball, but not so much of a goal solution. I don't mind the guy, but he would probably benefit from joining an on-the-up League 1 club or mid table Championship club.

Agree but would also say we could do worse than to give him another year. Sam obviously trusts him as a sub and like others have said he's ok as a squad player playing second fiddle to to Wickham. Even if we signed say Defoe then I'd still have thought we'd have space in the squad for him as fourth choice. Can't see us signing two strikers so unless we have someone coming through the ranks I see no ill in giving him another year.

I'd quite like to keep him. He's a good substitute and we're never going to have 4 top, first rate strikers in the squad. Who would we get that's better at a reasonable price that will want to be third/fourth striker?
