I hope he stays, there is a good chance that a bigger club in relegation trouble in 6 months time might pay top dollar for him. Otherwise, I can see him staying for a few years.

Hes done a great job. Apart from his signings which have all been good he addressed the thing that we were all tearing our hair out over and that is the fitness of the squad. For some reason Pardew criminally ignored the fitness levels and in most games we looked knackered after an hour in most games.5

He's done a decent job so far but in my mind the minimum expected of him when he joined. A season without looking over our shoulder at the bottom three would be an excellent one. If we can combine it with at least 4 points against Brighton and perhaps a few wins against the top 7 teams then I'll be very happy.

I'm sure the owners will be happy so long as he keeps us up each season and doesn't get himself involved in anything untoward. Therefore he will only leave if he wants to which would be if a bigger club were to come for him or if he wasn't getting the financial backing from the board.

So do all Palace supporters, Tim, as the supporters of clubs similarly blessed with the talents of BFS. But the question in discussion here is why he was disposed of after initially doing the job at variuos clubs, and whether this will occur here too, and just how quickly?

The tw@ts at Wet Sham felt they could do better and 'push on' with a better manager. So how's that working out for them with Bilic?

Cynic or realist? It's a fine line!

I've got a mate who supports West Ham, he would like Pardew as the next manager

I think Benteke is such a lonely figure up there waiting in case the ball should come into his half of the field.

Why not provide him with a packed lunch and book to read but not alcohol as we would like him to stay awake.

Unlike us watching 10 men behind the ball every week and calling it football.

Your joking right?? Surely??

How about calling him BS?

I do normally, I put BFS because I love the way some of these precious little jobsworths get their knickers in a twist when people don't follow along with their own feelings. I mean, really? Are you really that bothered/offended/upset by it? I know Allardyce himself isn't. Who cares? I mean its not as if anyone on here actually knows him.
Or maybe there are those that hope to meet him one day and to tell him they stuck up for him on HOL.

It made me laugh a couple of years back when someone was whining that we should al call AP Alan as Pardew sounds less respectful!
And going back further still people didn't like Warnock being called Colin. I mean, grow up eh. More important things in life. Plus you usually find the more you show how much it makes you cry he more people will do it.

I have a little more respect for a manager who has performed incredibly in keeping us up.
