A new number 10/creative midfielder must be a priority - I know Punch has his admirers on here but he's scored 0 goals this season. It's simply not good enough to have no goal threat from that position. Imagine how many more points we'd have if, for example, Sigurdsson played there instead of Puncheon....... totally

We need another centre half anyway though, at which point Delaney will be fifth choice, and at times he was dreadful this season. He's lost it hasn't he? I mean, he is going on 36 and trying to mark 20 year olds, its expected...not every CB can play on to 37/38

We've discussed this before. This was my view a couple of weeks ago and I've not changed it. Out of our current squad, who are nailed-on for the starting XI? I'd suggest: Tomkins There or thereabouts: Hennessey In bold are those positions could do with an upgrade. The others need some competition. Can't see any future for: Mutch Souare - impossible to say what will happen Shrewd, CF, IMO. Not sure about the 'Analytical Bender' reaction from a subsequent poster, though. A tad harsh!

Hopefully we finally get Hennesey out and a decent keeper in!

How far developed is Ladapo? Why does Boateng seem like the forgotten man? Is Pernteou worth keeping as his year's contract is up? Yes, Big Sam will need to work the transfer market but he should also look at the players we have in development and decide who's worth it and who is a waste of space.

My take: Mandanda - yeah, seems the writing's on the wall. Sell back. Edited by sprites (16 May 2017 6.34am)

I personally think the youth academy has got a lot worse since promotion. I don't watch the u23s but I seen they often get hammered by the likes of Southend,Ipswich and gillingham.

As much as we love to see our youth product flourish. You can't just throw them in because their young, they have to be good enough.
