I remember the feeling amongst our supporters when Mullery was appointed ! He was a figure of hate with malevolence aimed in his direction.

Too young for Mullery, who is the obvious answer.

Disliked ever shouldn't have anything to do with their success, which is why Dowie, Pulis and Venables would probably top my list.

For Dowie to leave us in the way he did really irritates and the look on Murray and Dowie's faces when Jordan issued the writ at the press conference still makes me smile.

Pulis based again upon the way he left.

I can see why Warnock would make it on some lists but I've met him more than once and he always come across as really likeable and speaks with what seems to be genuine affection for the club. I can't possibly dislike him.

Same. Always very pro-Palace from what I've seen. Heart in the right place, brain perhaps less so! I concur with other sentiments about not hating managers for being crap, I hate the ones that tried to screw us over.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

23rd February 2002 – Palace 0 Sheffield Utd 1 – the direst game of football you could imagine. The three of us that went determined not to go to another match while TF was in charge, even though we had season tickets, which we didn’t renew, and there were still five home games left. Incidentally I believe that was the only match Aki missed all season.

Not Pardew, he balls it up but not the worst that honour falls to Taylor. His leadership was the only time I've considered not getting a season ticket, the boredom levels were through the roof.

The ups and downs of Palace have left me older than my years

Pardew and Francis for me.
Pardew because he had the opportunity and blew it and Francis because it was so dull - except when he punched the goalie - that was interesting!

Dowie behaved like a total prick and I still get annoyed when I see him on Soccer Saturday.

Dougie the one I was most disappointed in. Will never dislike him because of his heroics as a player but I felt really let down when he went.

Yes Terry Venables every day.

I'm of the same thinking, his actions were nothing to do with football, he was a thief who brought the club to the edge of extinction and bankrupted an owner.

Mullery and Venables for me.. Mullery because he is such an arrogant b****** who never liked us anyway and not a good coach either.. was shocked he was appointed in the first place, stopped going while he "managed" us.. as for Venables, good coach, but a total conman, ripped our club apart once and ripped us off twice.. both very unpleasant pieces of sh*te..

1. Neil Warnock - particularly 2nd stint when he seemed clueless
2. Malcolm Alison - Two relegations to 3rd division football
3. Alan Mullery
