Point totally missed. Silly post

If you desire for money is that great, no need for you to feel guilty.

If posters think getting a few quid in exchange for us getting relegated into the abyss are clearly supporting the wrong club.

Absobloodylutely!

i dont see the problem. last year when we were in the s*** I put a £5 bet with £25 free bet on us going down at 33-1, and was obviously over the moon with our end of season rally.
This year when we were arguably even more in the s*** 3 weeks ago I only got 16-1, for the same £5 bet with £25 free.
we will stay up and i will have lost a fiver. Again.
I will also back us to beat Hull.....

No wonder I rarely bother posting on here. "Guilty" - what the **** are you on about? Concentrate and actually read what I and other fans who have made bets actually said. All may become clear. But I doubt it.

I remember putting £100 on Sheff Wed to beat us on survival Sunday, and I was over the moon when we stayed up!!! My thinking at the time was if we lose, at least make a few quid to soften the blow.

Thanks for that, I thought I was supporting the club I've supported for as long as I could remember. Betting doesn't mean you want that outcome, and betting doesn't affect the possibility of that outcome.

Its just a financial transaction. No different than buying a ticket.

If I remember rightly, last time we were relegated we went from crowds of 25,000 a game, to 18,000 in the space of the summer break, and then down to 12-14k per game.

I'll still be one of those 12k in the championship. Or league 1, or league 2 etc.

If my desire for money was great, I wouldn't go to games and save the ticket money. I pay to see us lose games (a lot it seems), to draw games and win games.

Seen a similar thread last week.

Want my opinion ..

Anyone backing palace to be relegated regardless of the monetary return needs a smack in the kisser

£5 at 20/1 a week ago. If we drop, I intend on buying a decent bottle of scotch, and locking myself in a darkened room with it for a few hours to lessen the blow. I sincerely hope I don't win.
