We have not been good enough over the course of a whole season and dare I say it will be playing Championship football next season. Today showed that. No amount of injuries can excuse that performance today. I for one just hope that this will be a wake up call for Parish and realization that he should have sacked Pardew after the cup final! Also it will hopefully stop him hanging around with his so called mate Brighty and that fake, Judas,so called legend Ian Wright and he will start to see what it really takes to make this club successful! Cannot wait for this season to end!

Now we know what has happened to the Muppet's after the Muppet show finished.

If we can't get one point from 15 including home games against Burnley and Hull, do we deserve to be in the EPL

FFS, what a pile of drivel. It has been an awful season, but if getting beat 5-0 against Man City is how you gauge our chances of staying up then you are supporting the wrong club. Go and take a look at how Hull fans are feeling today and get a reality check.

For the record, I will take 17th place for the next 5 seasons. The way the Premiership is evolving year on year, staying in it will be progress. I wouldn't say no to the odd cup run and perhaps the odd flirtation with Europe but those on here who have been throwing in the towel for the last few months don't appreciate how difficult the Championship is becoming to get out of.

If we don't go backwards, we will go forward.

Yes, because we picked up 10 from 15 including games against Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool and 38 points from 114 points(if we don't get 1 from 15). If there are three other clubs that get 37 from 114 or less then we stay up. If we stay up we deserve to be in the EPL. That is how the football season works.

Then you can follow some sport you may know something about. I doubt you have ever been to Selhurst on a freezing cold January night watching teams managed by Francis or Taylor, nearly losing the will to live.
This season has been fantastic, we are competing in one of the most exciting leagues in the world.

Cretinous comment. Sweating on getting a draw at home to Hull with the most expensive wage bill and squad we've ever had is not fantastic.

The comments about MB I can sort of understand. As a former team mate of Pardew it's not inconceivable that his heart wanted him to succeed when his head said not.

Excellent post. And as I've posted elsewhere, we are still two wins away from possibly finishing 10th this season!

I think you are taking the original comment out of context. I can certainly see where he is coming from. It has been a fantastic Premiership season, we have played our part in it. Sweating on getting a home draw against is eminently preferable to sweating on getting an away draw against Manchester United. Take care what you wish for, if we go down then next season we could be in Blackburn's position.

The wage bill and cost of the squad is all relative to where we are, I see no reason why it bothers you. Would you rather be a Blackburn, Wigan, Notts Forest etc.
Its been an exciting season, virtually half the league has worrying about relegation until the last 5 games. 2 weeks ago we were 12th, if you don't enjoy the ups and downs, I suggest you find another team to support.

We have been typical Palace this season, highs and lows, the Palace rollercoaster. Winning when not expected and losing to s*** teams that can't buy a win. Remember Sunderland a couple of seasons ago then Villa last season, it's our way.
If nothing was riding on it I'd guarantee a loss next Sunday but I was at Wednesday and Hull will go the same way.
If was easy it would be dull as f***, we are adrenaline junkies and we live for games like Sunday. Win and it's been a amazing season, lose and it might be even better one if we beat Man U.
We had unrealistic expectations and spent a s*** load of cash that's the only difference.
Can't f***ing wait till Sunday!! Coyp!

1. Who said anything about Blackburn, Wigan etc ?
2. I guarantee we're not a lower end payer in the Prem so it's not relative.
3. If you enjoy the prospect of going down and losing the likes of Wilf you're the one that needs to find another team to support

With respect I've lived and watched through the Gradi, Walley and Mullery eras. I don't give a monkey's about how fantastic the Premier league season is and care only that we do well and stay at the top table.
