It's the fact that one team that's just played a midweek game vs one that hasn't changes the balance. In the lower leagues there's 8 more games so you can afford to drop points and a given that points get dropped. You cannot afford that in the prem. Every point is gold dust or Sam would've rested players v Spurs. Look at the odd results midweek in the championship. Plus there's more time and space on the ball in slower matches.
because you play more games doesn't mean you can afford to drop points everyone plays the same amount of games in the league and clearly you pay no attention to those leagues otherwise you would see how close the points are so very point even goal difference is important (difference is those leagues dont have the wealth and so called glamour prem has) You get more time on ball in the prem the difference is chances in prem you may get a few those lower leagues you will get more i think you need to start watching them.

I mean, some artisan people have physically exhausting jobs eight hours a day five days a week and can't afford to let the quality or focus drop. Footballers get a pass it appears if they, the poor lambs, have to sweat more than once a week. Edited by Kermit8 (01 May 2017 6.57pm)

Point is that everyone is dropping points away at Bristol City or Rotherham or some sh1t, not just one club. They're all dropping points due to being stretched. That more time on my he ball opinion was rubbished after Owen Garvan's 1st match in the Prem at Selhurst. You just don't, unless it's a tactic to let you have the ball in ineffective areas, then they'll let you have the ball for 45 mins there if you wish. Ask Stirlingsays for confirmation. He said Garvan didn't have a hope due to the step up and less time and space, and that was him losing the ball. You think how much more accurate passes between lines and players and into channels have to be. Teams set up to make them difficult and are better at it than tiers below, and will put pressure on you to make the hurried pass. Edited by Rudi Hedman (01 May 2017 6.57pm)
