But If boards are not for people who have opinions what are they for ?
Lets just say , Ill be very surprised by the nature of the twist and fall if its NOT the cruciate ligament , and even more surprised if he plays again before October

Better be surprised then, announced its NOT cruciate damage

I would never underestimate the power of feeling 'happy'. I think he gets on well with his player-mates here. He's loved by all and has been successful. Also, he has never experienced a bad run with Palace. All he knows is that we clobber the top teams regularly. I think he would see us in the top 6-10 next year. He would get match time to showcase his skills (like he has been). I don't think it's too much of a long shot him staying at Palace. And what's his experience of LFC? All super-elite-professional stuff which he may not have liked, given his misbehaviour? I think he likes Benteke and the fellas and he could be thinking that he could do much worse.

It's all great news. Let's hope he makes a full recovery. I reckon it could be a couple of months. Of course negotiations will now be easier. People get nervous of knee injuries. We love him, he has fitted in really well and I hope he joins.

No way will Sakho sign for us unfortunately. He has been great for us and in terms of putting him in the shop window, we have been great for him. Lots of bigger clubs than us will be after his signature.

Does the same apply to Zaha as everything that you have said applies to him too
