I only knew it was St Georges day Yesterday when i passed a pub covered in flags this morning. Actually thought it was today until i read this thread. So i went all day yesterday without knowing. I watched TV all day not a mention. Read two Sunday newspapers too.If its Paddys day there is lots of press coverage. Will be National Muslim day next and 24hr tv coverage. Am sure Nick will celebrate that day with his brothers.

If the tv and newspapers didn't have them all splashed over and remind me of important dates throughout the year like my kids' birthdays, Xams, anniversary,etc, I reckon i would forget every single one of them. Had a great time with the locals yesterday down the main park celebrating St George's with music and games and lovely grub. Lucky this thread reminded me to go. They only had about 50 posters up.
