We don't want genuine far right organisations anywhere near power but we do need a message to be sent that enough is enough of the corporate agenda promoting mass immigration supported naively by the liberal/left.

You may not have an axe to grind (other than re immigrants, though it may,to be fair,be a mallet rather than an axe) but you sure are tunnel visioned and you wear a coat of many many prejudices...of which (fair enough in a free society) you provide us with a dose regularly...

He will definitely win. Main surprise is that he came first this round. Le Pen was favourite to be first. She's a criminal hiding behind parliamentary immunity and a horrific racist. Macron winning is good news for France.

Really? Do you want to support that with evidence? Good luck finding some.

Ein volk ,ein reich, ein fuhrer! Every other post from you invokes Godwin's Law. It's like you've learnt anything from the past 18 months in politics. Keep it up; it's pathetic. Edited by davenotamonkey (23 Apr 2017 10.58pm)

An "anti-establishment" ex-Rothschild (I wonder who is funding his campaign?) banker, with whom the establishment is clamoring to get behind even before tonight's vote. Previously working as a Hollande minister with pro-Globalist, EUro-cuck credentials representing the very epitome of continuity politics in France, with a slick Blairite PR machine heavy on style and (as was painfully, painfully evident in tonight's tedious podium speech) light on policy. Will do absolutely nothing to stem the now frequent enrichment from Alan's snackbar truck of tolerance. France frankly deserves him. Going to get worse before it gets better.

Just out of curiosity what, within reason, do you think Le Pen could do to stop IS affiliated attacks from homegrowns? Or, forgetting reason, what doable extreme measures could she implement without making the overall situation worse? Why do you want her to win? For what purpose? The snack bar ref say's it's more than just about leaving the EU.

I'd quite like for us to do that here. Not too comfortable having jihad-hardened psychos on the streets, back from their beheading holidays where they boast of raping 500 women. If that's OK with you (I'm fairly sure it isn't with Corbyn, but that's a different thread...).

What you would like and what will happen are always pretty much going to be different practicality-wise. Populist politicians know this but they are able to sell you the dream anyway.
