In my lifetime all I've seen is a Labour or Conservative government and the mess that was the coalition.

In my voting age I've always gone Labour as I despise the Cons although I have no real affiliation with any party as they promise the world but fail to deliver, each party making worse of there predecessor.

At the moment I wouldn't know who to vote for, my usual Lab vote or a Lib one although Corbyn looks like he would get destroyed either way and Farron looks as useful as a chocolate teapot.

Just as an after thought I wonder which seat farage will attempt to slither into. And will carswell keep his seat now he's on an independent ticket?
Will there be a big name losing their seat ala portillo and balls?

I love general elections

I think Carswell will be back with the Tories for the next election and probably up against Farage.

Better watch how much is spend centrally on battle buses.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

ITV see it as bigger news than Holky Willoughby's bust. This Morning trash has been moved off ITV 1. I don't know if it's on ITV 2,3 or 4 instead. I only passed a tv.

Will Paul Mason still favour Brexit led by the left?

LOL!

We have the worst wage falls since 2008 of any OECD country. How can that possibly be seen as economic prosperity unless you're ridiculously rich?

I am still at a loss to see why anyone would vote Tory. They were elected in 2010 saying they'd bring stability. Since then we have had our most tumultuous decade since the war, with Brexit, Scottish independence probably, NI independence almost assured, and a recession round the corner as businesses f*ck off to Europe. Meanwhile the average worker's being screwed, the young have almost no opportunities and public provisions are being destroyed. I think IF there is an election, they'll come under scrutiny and the people will see the Emperor has no clothes.

You mean 5 years from now? You have to have been a member of a political party for 2 years before you can stand for them in an election

The key question in all this .. who will Winston McKenzie stand for? He is a political whore who's hawked his wares to every party going. I wonder where he's headed next

This is about UKIP being at a low point and the Brexit deal not being decided. I would urge anyone who cares about this country to vote UKIP and send the Tories a message.
Labour are an irrelevance and I would suggest that remaining Labour supporters with any sense vote UKIP to oust Corbyn and curtail the Tory majority.

So,you can't care about this country unless you vote UKIP?

Jesus wept.

I'd rather get a Brighton season ticket than vote UKIP. Labour will get hammered,of course, but since when did might necessarily equate with right

Why do you think that "Labour will get hammered"?
Labour represent the views that you yourself post on here. Why do you think the electorate will reject those views?

We have now sunk to a depth at which the restatement of the obvious is the first duty of intelligent men. [Orwell]
