Perfect result for us, they'll fancy themselves at only 1-0, still not easy for us, but they will still have one eye on Madrid Wednesday. Smash em. They won't get anything if they don't play us full on.Its not happening, 3 points ,time to give it some. Think it's Tuesday.

It is a good result for us but how many times have teams played a second string side who have just gone above and beyond and smashed it. We have to hope they play as many of the first team as possible because the real enemy for them is halfheartedness to save themselves for Tuesday. Will they go as hard for the 50/50s if they know they have a huge game on Tuesday.

Didnt watch the match, but from the stats it seemed like they had to do a lot of defending and struggled to make chances. They'll be tired. We are flying high- 3-1 Palace!

It's a big ask for Leicester to be 100% up for it against us on Saturday after their clash with Athletico and their need to be sharp for the return bout. Well done to them if they can manage it and nothing's guaranteed but YES it's a PERFECT time to play them. The mental fitness demands will be as demanding as the physical. Honestly, I can't see them doing it. And they'll need to make a decision about what target to focus on: Given their humble history, and the fact that they are pretty safe from relegation, I would say that achieving their best in Europe would take priority, and that means resting key players for our match. But am I right? If they see themselves as still in relegation danger then we'll meet their best team. Either way, yes, it is a good time to play them.

I watched the game. Leicester defended very well. The pen was never a pen and if you took that into account then you could say they should have come away with a 0-0. It is hard to say what might happen to their defensive shape if they choose to rest any players but I think we might find it hard going against the defense from last night. I have to agree that this is perhaps a good time to be playing them at home. I would take 5 points from the Leicester, Burnley and Hull fixtures to leave us on 39. That would leave Swansea needing 4 wins out of 6 games to catch us.

They can't see themselves in a relegation battle, surely. They need 1 win from 7. 6 after us on Saturday. They'll come for 0-0 and the off chance of a goal or more if they score 1st and we leave ourselves exposed. I know that's their strategy anyway but I bet it's an enhanced one this Saturday. They won't chuck the game but they won't make the effort to win it either.

Leicester fan here. Very good result for us last night because it gives us something to play for in the 2nd leg. This is great news for Palace, because we will roll out most of our second team like we did against Everton. I see a comfortable Palace win. Good luck for the rest of the season & I hope Schlupp has a successful career with you guys Edited by LeicesterFanHere (13 Apr 2017 11.26am)

It will be a tough game on Saturday and hopefully the players will not be complacent after our result against Arsenal.

Definitely a good time to play them now they're still in the tie. If you're one of their players you're definitely saving some in the tank for Wednesday. Win this and we're safe. COYP

I would say "we know how you feel", but obviously not in a Champions League quarter-final we don't. I hope you turn them over in the 2nd leg. I'm somewhat 'old school' in that I always want the English team to do well in European competition. Unless it's Moan Utd.

After they lost 2-1 Sevilla, they went on to beat Liverpool in the next game 3-1!
