You are just proving my previous point succinctly. You are incapable of independently defending 'your' ideology. No he's not. He's showing (not necessarily proving but coming pretty close) that when he does attempt to defend his position you have - rather than argue a point - called him delusional or that his view will change "when he gets a proper job and mortgage". In other words doing exactly what you have accused him and "the left" of doing. What a surprise.

In other words doing exactly what you have accused him and "the left" of doing. What a surprise. He has consistently posted unsubstantiated statements that he cannot defend when questioned. Today is the latest in this chain. If you think that we are dealing with some sort of political leviathan, then you are wrong. He is a middle class kid playing suburban ache Guevara but without his actual involvement in a revolution. What a surprise you cannot see this or will acknowledge it.

Once again - as you like to do when challenged - you've decided to put words into my mouth. You've decided to deride a whole political movement and then showed the exact same tactic that you claim the Left is capable of. I guess it isn't just "the Left" then.

I'm pretty sure the who private / public employment is a trap, that after the first legal case of 'discriminatory business practices' will be expanded to all sub-contractor business. With IR35 they first went for IT contractors, then anyone else, irrespective of whether they'd 'taken the p1ss' or not. Friend of mines brother in law was investigated as a regular session musician at a local recording studio. The whole tax system needs to be overhauled and reformed fairly to represent people and their types of employment. The HMRC contractor thing has gone beyond 'getting a fair share of tax' to becoming a system of penalising people for HMRC's own failure to effectively regulate taxation.

What a surprise you cannot see this or will acknowledge it. I didn't say he was a genuine political revolutionary or a middle class spotty oik from Redhill. Nor was I bothered. What prompted me was your attempt to label everyone from the opposing political view to you as using a particular deflection method, which you yourself had just done.

As much as it flatters me to see this thread turning in to a speculation about my identity, can we just ignore those who wish to derail all forms of political conversation and do the thing they want least, which is to discuss the issues of this thread like adults?
