I once did a school assembly based on an article I found on HOL based on the theme of rivalry.
It said 90 per cent of football fans would be sad if their rivals ceased to exist. It also showed that relatively few clubs are in a position of mutual rivalry. Palace / Brighton was one such example.
it has taken them four years to recover from our victory at the amex. It will liven up next season for sure.

Me. And I am delighted.

Delighted for FFS.

Delighted that our only real rivalry will be rekindled.

Elephant outed.

Assuming we stay up (fingers crossed) - it will certainly add a lot more spice to out fixture list next season with Brighton in the mix!

Really am looking forward to playing Brighton again, I just love the passion of these games.

Also be interesting to see how Muzza gets on back in the prem.

It pains me to say it but the Tesco boys at the Tampax have done well, to beat the squad Newcastle have with a manager of Benitez's calibre to the title is excellent. Hopefully there'll be 6 easy points for us next season (we need to be up for it, as they defiantly will be)!!
