Something is going on as the french no 2 can't even get on the bench, he's behind a keeper who's pretty dodgy and a guy coming to the end of his career! Can't see him ever playing for Palace again.
The ups and downs of Palace have left me older than my years |

Physio room still show's him as being injured and its usually pretty accurate Hope that's the case and he proves to be the answer to our problems as I liked what I saw in his few games.

Very unimpressive when he has played. Hasn't kept a clean sheet in any game. Get rid.
Let's keep the ball this season! |

We need to stop bashing Steve and give him a proper chance ffs. The guy is renowned as a world class keeper and to carry on with this constant negativity is pointless. It's not like Hennessy who's been consistently woeful for a couple of seasons now, yet some will worship him regardless. Hoping he comes in and proves a lot of people wrong. Could be a huge player for us.

The one who really has been cack and clearly not good enough over the course of a year is the current incumbent. Starting to form the view that Mandanda isn't fancied by the current management. If this is the case then you can hardly blame him for making noises about wanting away.

Yes he has a quality reputation in France but in the 9 games his played for us he's been average at best. What you also got to remember mandanda yet to learn English and if his was willing to settle in England. Speaking the language surely top of the list. He won't be our goalie next season whatever division. Hennessy kept consecutive clean sheets and will be the number 1 until the end of the season. I'm not a Hennessy fan but can understand why he's picked as he has the statue of a prem goalie also he no longer working with Andy Foodman.

I think Mandanda is a great keeper. Much better then WH! I can't believe people are so fickle. He is one of the top league one keepers. He got injured, Sam came in, and now he is struggling to get into No.1. Sam doesn't want to rock the boat and drop WH.. That all said, if WH can do well for us, then maybe Mandanda just got unlucky with his timing. Shame if it works out that way, I thought he was excellent. WH looks like a little lamb to the slaughter standing in goal compared to Mandanda.

Looking at the numbers Steeeeeve played 9, won 3, drew 2, lost 4 with 17 goals conceded. 11 points Hennessy's first 9 this season were won 1, drew 1, lost 7 conceding 17. 4 points

He played 9 games, WH has had years to prove he's the business and has pretty much failed at every attempt, terrible GK in my opinion. Whether Mandanda turns out to be amazing for us or not is yet to be seen but I honestly cannot see how Hennessey would be better than Frances no.2. Palace fans generally have this weird tendency to just write off players/managers and start witch hunts for no particular reason, usually after very few games, yet players and managers such as Henessey and Pardew can Cock up time after time and not face any real scrutiny until it's physically impossible for there deficiencies to go unnoticed by everyone. All I'm saying is this "Steve out" bandwagon is pretty sad and pathetic, don't remember anyone saying anything other than positive words when we signed him but after 9 games under Pardews leadership, our chief scouts are out in full force to report the guy isn't good enough and apparently Wayne Hennessey is a much better option.
