Mbemba and kabasele don't even play for their clubs. How have you deemed them good enough for the prem provided we stay up of course. I would like us to sign Ben Gibson and Sakho. Let's be honest Wilf, will probably leave and I think we cash in on benteke. I agree we need that attacking, goal scoring midfielder.
Ben Gibson costs soo much more than Palace can afford

Sakho expensive as is Gibson but there improvement on dann, Delaney and Tomkins. Kasbele cant dislodge Kaboul who's a terrible defender. Likewise mbemba . Cairain Clark keeping him out of the team. We need better. I haven't seen enough of the other names mentioned. We need to reshape the side in my opinion. With the likes of Ledley,Delaney and Hennessy out of contract.

Ok, now Papadopoulous is out of the question. But still, within 5 million you could get: Cristian Zapata- Ac Milan- 30 years, 1,87 Nicolas N'Koulou- Lyon- 26 years, 1,84 Chancel Mbemba- Newcastle- 22 years, 1,82 Carlos Zambrano- Rubin- 27 years, 1,85 Christian Kabasele- Watford- 26 years, 1,87 All those clubs will be looking to offload them in the summer (maybe only Kabasele might have a chance to continue). And I'd keep 15 million to buy an attacking player who can get me 10+ points than I'd normally have in a season. Imagine Palace with 10+ points in this moment. For 15 mill you could convince clubs to sell players like El Shaarawy or Pablo Sarabia, Stindl, Junuzovic, Immobile, Bakambu, Nils Petersen, Adrian Ramos, Ben Arfa or others like them. Sako comes from a top 6 team. He'll be overestimated very much just because of that. In 3 years he'll be worth less than 6 million even if he regularly plays for Palace. That's just money thrown away when you bring a top 6 player for that sum. It's not money thrown away if he gets us clean sheets and points! Him and milio have possibly saved us from relegation... that's worth more than £6m return... Looking at it completely one dimensional if you think only attacking players earn points. Who cares about re-sale value he could be a rock in our defence for ten years.... Proven quality rather than a punt on a 22 year old... I'd have Sakho over Stones all day long.

These have just been 2 players amongst 13 more who have played. They did ok for 3 games, but it's not solely their success. And they haven't yet saved us from anything. Originally posted by Goldfiinger Looking at it completely one dimensional if you think only attacking players earn points.
I didn't say that. I just said you can find a central defender of the same quality for a max. of 5 million. I realize the contribution of defensive players. However, I also understand the average prices. And let me tell you, 20 million for Sakho is bad management. Proven quality rather than a punt on a 22 year old... He's 27 years old. No way is he a 10 year signing. He's made plenty of mistakes in Liverpool. Some of the fans booed him and wanted him gone. Originally posted by Goldfiinger I'd have Sakho over Stones all day long.
See, now it's clear you're exaggerating and seeing him better than he really is. Maybe Stones is not worth the fortune City has paid for him, but he's better than Sakho. And at a much younger age too.

Would be a dream if we could keep / sign the following: Wilf Pickford Obviously few squad players will be leaving us as thier contracts are up but to balance the books I think it's likely we might also see the following depart: Mandanda or WH Far East money for Benteke might be taken if it means being able to land the targets we want and put Wilf on a contract he's earnt.

Sakho Keep the players we need and move on some to free up the space and wages required (plus a bit of income) from the likes of Lee, Sako, Fryers, Mutch (on permanent if possible) and perhaps Ledley.
