Hope Haye's body is up for a rematch. I wanted Belles to win before but I have a lot of respect for Haye now. Not just how he stayed in the fight but also how gracious he is in defeat.

He is the better boxer and Belles was running on fumes from round 6 onwards. If there was a natural heavyweight in the ring Haye wouldn't have lasted 2 rounds with no ankle.

I can't see a rematch happening Bellew knows Haye would beat him with both legs so he will avoid it you could tell by the way he was going on in the interview in the ring.

The other thing I can see Haye recovery taking a while maybe looking at him not having another fight for year plus which is too long the guy is nearing 40

Haye should quit now. His perfect body can't handle it anymore.
The fight was exciting but a farce. Bellew held off when he knew Haye was crocked and the ref should have stepped in earlier.
The old adage is true. You should never come back.

But wait, they are talking about a rematch already, surprise surprise. The public really are taken for mugs.

I wonder if it was Bellew's fight tactic to try and get the fight to the later rounds knowing Haye's previous injuries and the fact he weighed in quite heavy would come into play? Despite the injury Haye's tactic was power punches and end the fight early which is kind of putting all your eggs in one basket and all the punches Haye threw before the injury Bellew took and he hung in there. So many other boxers would have gone into their shell and be easy pickings.

So even though the injury was unfortunate for Haye, his all or nothing tactics really worked against him

This is what I thought when Bellew didn't follow through on Haye's windmills over Bellew that left Haye vulnerable. He was there for the taking.

They are businessmen like footballers now.

Seriously, (i) did you watch the fight and (ii) do you know anything about boxing??

Bellew running on fumes from round 6-11? So, the 5 rounds he won that ended in a stoppage?

To be fair Bellew couldn't finish off a sitting duck. If it was the other way round It would have ended a lot sooner. Not sure why the towel was thrown in at that point considering when the injury happened.

The sky w***fest over Bellew was a tad embarrassing. The simple truth is he had 5 rounds with a punch bag.

I hope there is a rematch as it would be good to see a conclusive result.

I have a new found respect for both boxers, Bellew proved he could take a couple of good heavy weight shots and Haye has more heart than I thought.

On a separate note I thought if you fall out of the ring you get an extended count. It looked like the ref was giving him a standing 8 count.
