Anyone who watched England's performances in the last 3 international tournaments would agree that he's a moron. Easily the worst manager of an international football side I've ever seen. Added to that his squad selection, team selection, substitutions, tactic and general decision making were bizarre to say the least. He also seemed to lack any motivational or man management skills. I'd not want him in charge in a relegation battle.

Come on, Hogdson has been labelled a "Buffoon" and now a "Moron". He really doesn't deserve such slurs - by all means criticise him if you feel this is necessary but let's not get down to the level that has been reached by using such terminolgy to describe an experienced manager who has won titles, reached finals and managed 4 international teams.

I would have had him here in a heartbeat. Very good manager withe experience at both ends of the table. Look whathe did with both Fulham & WBA

Lauded at Inter, won multiple league titles and two Uefa / Europa finals.

of course, he isn't a cheeky chappy like dodgy El Tel so must be s***

He took over at Fulham after 20 games and they avoided the drop.In his second season they finished 7th and in his last season 12th. He also took Fulham to the Europa League final.

At WBA he took over towards the end of the season and they finished 11th.In his second and last season there they finished 10th.

We wouldn't mind finishing 7th,10th, 11th and 12th !!!!

We did finish 10th - under Pardew - and look how that ended up.

Hodgson had over 4 years in his most recent job and it was an abject failure. His performance in the role was appalling and could have been bettered, in my opinion, by a trained chimp. As an England fan, it was embarrassing, and the last thing I'd want is for him to be anywhere near my club. The way he managed the side in the recent Euros was moronic (picking and playing Wilshire, no wingers, Kane on corners to recall but a few absurd decisions).

If I was a Leicester fan I'd be very disappointed to lose Ranieri and end up with Hodgson. Ranieri won the league last year, whatever happened this year and deserved the chance to try and keep Leicester up this season. Hodgson doesn't merit a PL job based on performance over last 4 years.

Yes indeed Leicester won the league last season but owners have to look at the current situation at the club.

I of course don't know the 'Chemistry' between Ranieri and the players and if there was any unrest in the dressing room, but given their form, performances and league position it is understandable why the owners acted as they did.For whatever reason, Leicester were on a downward spiral so something had to change.

International manager and Club Manager are two very different jobs. The football world is littered with managers who did very well at one it no the other.

Hodgson should have done better than he did but remind me the last time England were a force in world football

Ranieri's last job before Leicester was Greece where he managed four games before being sacked, he went on to win the Premier League!

As Y Ddraig Goch said, International management is completely different to club management.. especially where England are concerned.

Even so, his decisions were baffling. I defy anyone to agree with how he managed the side in any of the tournaments over which he presided. He was woeful and had a lot more than the four games afforded to Ranieri.

Even if it is completely different (it's not), it's still managing a football team, and still requires "game day" tactics, selection, man-management and instilling confidence in the side. Hodgson was abysmal. He was easily the worst England manager in my lifetime (SA doesn't count).

I hope he goes to Leicester. He'll play Vardy on the left wing.

To much blame is put on the Managers nowadays, the players need to put in the effort week in week out.
Like Leicester did Monday.

PS
The England players when they qualify for a tournament in the Summer do not really want to be there.
Would rather be on there holidays, and at the end of the day are not goodenough.

I think Woy will be s***e at Leicester. He may have done well wiyh clubs in the past but the Euros really made me think he'd lost the plot. If he were any good he'd have been at least considered for Palace.

I think he knows that already as you just carbon copied the points he made.

Yannick Bolasie - Glenn Murray - Wilfried Zaha

Most exciting attacking trio at Selhurst Park in years.
