Pardew will of course follow the cameras around whilst possibly courting a managers position.

I predict that when we go down, Alan Pardew will be our manager in the championship. Why? Palace need to get away from the idea that playing football is hard:- 1) Why have a tried and tested (?worn out / rejected?) manager when there so many young managers "doing the business" effectively - new manager at Huddersfield takes them from 21st to 3rd in the table. 2) not testing youth allows them to see what they need to do to secure a place and does not allow them to feel that they (as loaned players) are just waiting for their turn. It should be easy for our young players to get thirty minutes of first team action. COYP

When he arrived at Huddersfield in Nov 15, Huddersfield were 19th after 16 games and they ended last season in 19th place. Brilliant improvement this season where they are currently 3rd. Wagner was unheard of in this country when he arrived, much like Pochettino and Wenger when he arrived from 'Grampus Eight' ! Edited by Willo (20 Feb 2017 12.13am)

Seriously why are people still starting threads about ap. He was our manager. Opinion is divided about whether he was any good or not. He's now gone. This obsession with him, where he is what he's doing and whether he's going to go back to management isn't normal. Get over it
When I was a young girl my Mother said to me.. You listen here kid you're CPFC |

It was so exciting lose 5-4 to Swansea and 3-2 to Burnley. Getting to Wembley means nothing if you don't win it. He started the decline and if Pardew was still in charge, we would be where we are now. The players 'super al' bought are spineless and gutless. A manager changed was needed but weather Big Sam was right choice remains to be seen. It a lot more exciting than losing 4-0 at home to Sunderland yes. Quite enjoyed 3-0 home win over Southampton too. If Pardew was still in charge we would be where we are now is an opinion. FACT is that we were never in the relegation zone under his tenure. Getting to Wembley meaning nothing is also an opinion, I doubt many share it. Edited by StainesPalace (20 Feb 2017 2.35pm) Edited by StainesPalace (20 Feb 2017 2.35pm)

Is pardew the worst manager we've ever had? Especially with the funds he had available Edited by Dan89 (19 Feb 2017 9.07pm) He left us out of the relegation zone and with a squad Steve Parish described as the best Palace squad ever. Yeah massive state he left us in.

By some he will be viewed as a manager who took over after 20 games when we were in the relegation zone, comfortably saved us from the drop finishing 10th and took us to a cup final the following season.Perhaps he divides opinion amongst our supporters. Edited by Willo (19 Feb 2017 9.12pm) He divides opinion but you can't dispute the facts. The facts show he never had us in the relegation zone. Simples

Simples He divides opinion much as flat earthers do and it was plain to everyone except a very tiny minority that he was taking the side down, down and down and was absolutely clueless about how to stop the rot
