Not to the detriment of our own orphans I'd have to say. Edited by Mo Sizlak (15 Feb 2017 4.02pm) I know 3 people that have taken in refugee children. They say it's very rewarding but hard work because the kids have been through a lot.

Here's the thing. We have plenty of evidence of rape by immigrant Asian gangs in Britain. It is currently on it's holidays at Her Majesties pleasure. The liberal/left begrudgingly acknowledge this, try and deflect the reality with some rubbish about unfairly blaming Labour councilors and the next day they are back on the broken record about how blaming foreigners for practically anything is a far right myth. Surely what is important is keeping people safe, not a one size fits all ideology that excuses anything that doesn't fit and doesn't just want equality but favours all and any minority interests over the majority, deserving or not. There should be no deflection. Society failed these girls, as did the police and social services and the local council authority, allowing these men to get away with these crimes, because they didn't give a s**t about these kids (in care, often in and out of trouble problem kids - it was easier to ignore them than to actually care). The care workers at the home were reporting concerns to their superiors, who just couldn't be bothered. Its not just that the abusers treated these kids like white trash, the authorities regarded them as the same and then only gave a s**t when it all came out. Its astonishing over the decades just how often we fail children in care, and have exposed them to repeated abuse. Its not just the abusers who should be in prison.

Denis MacShane, MP for Rotherham from 1994 to 2012, actually admitted to the BBC’s World At One that “there was a culture of not wanting to rock the multicultural community boat, if I may put it like that. Perhaps, yes, as a true Guardian reader and liberal Leftie, I suppose I didn’t want to raise that too hard.” Much better to hang on to your impeccable liberal credentials than save a few girls from being raped, eh, Denis?

The UKIP Yorkshire mep lied (but it doesn't matter apparently because they all do it so let's just shrug our shoulders and allow the lies to become truth) about mps knowing about the case and not doing anything. The lie was in the usual media, seems the usual media aren't owning up to printing lies.

He also said "“There is in our country, just a dreadful culture and I wouldn’t pick particular on one ethnic community but it is a real problem, it’s a longer story about the nature of that community, their sexual relations, and the way they treat women in particular within that community, there’s a big problem."

That's the excuse, for those who failed, its the fault of x, or someone else is to blame. The police didn't pursue it because they held those kids as being low value and trash. Just like they did with the Care Home abuse stories of the 80s, Savile in the 70s and so on. Too much work. Same with the council, and social services. Its not about multiculturalism, its about how much work those kids were. If it had been their kids, they (the police, social workers or MPs) do you think they wouldn't have done something. But kids in care, especially the ones who keep running away or otherwise cause hassle for the police and social services, they couldn't give two s**ts. Same as its always been. They're worse than the rapists. Because they f**king enabled them to get away with it for so f**king long, and pressured those who were speaking up, to shut up. Its got nothing to do with multiculturalism, its that they saw them as trash as well.
