I never get why in football it is deemed as acceptable to abuse players when they have a bad game. Been to Cardiff when England got battered by Wales in a grand slam decider they absolutely bottled it but nobody was abused, fans didn't run along a stand to "get to the players"

This cobblers about "I've paid my entrance fee I'm entitled to boo and moan etc" Would you boo a singer if they sang out of tune or if an actor forgot some lines?

Besides does anyone really think it bothers the players? You might get one or two but who thinks Damo had a sleepless night Saturday? Our supporters that sing and dance and wave those pretty flags have such an affect we've had the worst home record in the last 14/15 months so if they sit down and shut up will the team perform any worse?

Why are you always commenting on HF lol!!

I am 100% sure that didn't happen. The HF are liked by the club and wouldn't do something like that to undermine the freedom given to them by Parish and Co.

They don't claim to be anything. Please could you reference where they have said "we are better than the rest of you"...

Us "ordinary" fans built them up, and when things go wrong you try to break them down.. it was us who put them on a pedestal.

I be going to Palace for 20 years. I appreciate that they try to make an atmosphere but all this pointless signs like premier league greed. Without the prem money we wouldn't be able to break our transfer record 3 times in 18 months. They claim they are the best, I remember they threw coins last season against Newcastle at pappis cisse and threw coins at rooney. Yet they pleaded with parish not to ban them from selhurst.

Andy Johnson Magic, He wears a Magic Hat
When he Sees the match ball, he says he having that
He scores one with left foot, he scores one with his right
And When his playing Brighton, He scores all f***ING Night!

There you go they are given more freedom than any other fan. Spitting at players, throw coins undoes on the positive about the the ultras.

Again, where? + why do people make the point of "how long" they've been following palace for. You say we're all equal then you use time as a deciding factor lool! makes no sense.

They may well have done what you're claiming below.

They wouldn't have spat at their own though, that I can guarantee.

No, not more freedom of any other fan..

Freedom to congregate. Freedom to have and use the drum. etc etc.

My view on the "Ultras"... they are great for the atmosphere (most of the time and even though some of the songs are droaning Euro style pish), but some of their actions are mega cringe.

The faux outrage and shouting at the players leaving the pitch is just them trying to emulate the actions of their European ultra heroes, but the difference being that the proper euro ultras actually hold sway with the club and proper lads and big old lumps, not pimply little oiks who would melt at the first sign of real trouble. I know some of them, and know there are a few lads amongst them, but most of them couldn't fight their way out of a paper bag, so they really should drop all the "ultra" aggression and pretence of being in anyway at all threatening.

It doesn't matter but what I'm saying is I followed before the ultras and appreciate the atmosphere created. Well there video evidence of abuse on twitter.

They should of been banned, for throwing coins it unacceptable and cowardness. A coin is a weapon and could blind someone. They are given a special case from Steve parish. Someone who use to sit near me was thrown out and banned for throwing objects.

But the anger of the "ultras" by the tunnel was so fake, and seemed to be just for effect.
From block H I watched their contorted faces and obscene gestures, then when they were finished I saw them giggling and whispering to each other, they were so pleased with themselves.

A view I also share.

Agree with what you're saying. Who threw the coin? Of the 50 in black. Would get awfully confusing trying to identify that don't you think?
