Who said we have a scouting network! The best scout we had was old Ron Noades, he unearthed a few gems in his time.

I'm betting on two permanent new signings and possibly a loan at the last minute when a bigger deal falls through. Good post. There are more balanced, level headed posts to calm the hysterical starting off this nonsense. Good stuff.

Was reading an article recently that said about a third of recent years' mid-season transfers get done on the last day, so very likely we'll do something then if we've put so many enquiries in as Sam's hinted.

dont think we're fannying around. SA has said that we've asked about 20 players, and schlupp is the only one to have said yes. apparently we're onto second targets, which kinda reminds me of our infamous scattergun approach, a few seasons back. the only mistake at the moment, was not installing a new manger sooner, to identify targets earlier.
