You don't understand the meaning of "being options in the market". No, I'm not their manager. But naming those players was a lot more than I've seen you do. You just comment on my posts and pick on things just because you feel threatened by me somehow. relax, stay off the thread if you don't like it Touchy! I think it's funny how thin skinned you are when challenged or teased. You claimed you knew for a fact that over 200 players were unhappy and were available for under 10m. Repeatedly you were asked, by me and others, how you knew for a fact that they were unhappy and available, we got a bunch of abuse in return. So go on, explain how you knew that for a fact. You can't can you: hence the abuse. Given that your claim was patently false, I was wondering if your new claim was true, or like the previous one: made up. If you try to swerve the issue by saying you listed players, or I didn't list players--to cloud the issue--all that shows, is you are full of it.
If you come to a fork in the road, take it. |

Simply because Wilf is our best player and his best position is right wing...he would put a shift in for the team in any position you asked him to play but you wont get a performance out of him that could win us a game...which right now at right wing he is capable of doing. Away from home i can see SA playing more defensive minded in the hope of picking up draws. But I do think that he sees Wilf as someone that if he gets the best out of could save us...just from his comments made before Wilf left. Yes. 3-5-2 until a left back comes in and maybe away. Townsend will be sold or loaned out when Zaha returns.

Schlupp is not a CM, so comparisons with Cabaye (who isn't exactly universally lauded on here) are meaningless and I can't recall seeing Townsend doing that for us, can you? Matteo clearly knows him personally, and can attest that he is perfectly happy to stay and do that three times a match if he is sufficiently loved by Big Sam.

Bexley Dave Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing! "The most arrogant, obnoxious bunch of deluded little sun tanned, loafer wearing mummy's boys I've ever had the misfortune of having to listen to" (Burnley forum) |

The reason we only paid £12m for Townsend was because that was the release clause in his contract - seemed odd at the time that nobody else was interested (but maybe we now know why?). From what I saw on Saturday Schlupp has more than enough both from a defensive and work rate perspective to offset what he might not (as yet) have offensively compared with Townsend. Some of his best performances were in Leicester's relegation battle so he's likely to be more of what we need right now than a highly talented sulk.

Totally disagree with this negative thread. I thought we looked much better on Saturday and if it weren't for the Schlupp fiasco I reckon we would've got a point.

3-5-2 is definitely out dated. Chelsea were killing the league until they switched formation, look at them now. Losers

Yesterday was a lesson in how to make that formation work to give your players a rest.. Folk have praised Hull but I don't think Chelski got out of 2nd gear that often. It simply allowed them to sit there & let Hull run around with the ball, mostly in their own half or the middle of the pitch, then break forward when the opportunity arose. We don't need a rest as such but if we can contain sides like that then it'd be a big step in the right direction.

These are the only 3 teams who have constantly played the 3 central defenders system this year. One is first, the other 2 are in the relegation zone.

What are you expecting of me (or anyone who suggests players), to go door to door and talk to them personally to listen to why they're unhappy? Really, I literally give you an entire list which YOU could not pull off in a week, let alone understand, and you still clinge onto little, puerile things like "how do you know they're unhappy?".
