Think it's pretty obvious now that there's so much red tape around redeveloping selhurst that it won't happen in our lifetime.

The only way we will get a new stadium is to move......out of Croydon. Find a area that wants us.

I don't think that we will definitely go down but, at 4/1, we are a very good bet.

On the plus side, two or three other clubs (including Watford) are a bit of a mess.

I think Hull have made a serious mistake in sacking Mike Phelan who was getting his side to play a bit.

Ironically, Pardew is being talked of as a possible replacement

Not good. He always starts well and Hull have got some talent.

What was so depressing about that is that it didn't even surprise anyone when having battled back into it and levelled it with a superb goal we immediately went back to sleep and chucked the point and the chance to go on and win it away again. It's not as if it's not about the fifteenth time we've done it this season. I was jumping up and down. What a goal! See? Look what we can do. And then I looked back at the screen and saw ten zombies in red and blue standing about again.

Any other team would have been inspired and galvanised by seeing that Zaha strike fly into the back of the net, but not us. Oh no.

Hmmm, yeah. They need to take a long hard look at themselves.

Why do you assume, that going down, we will suddenly find players with pride in the shirt.
Your logic is quaint but so far off the mark. We will end up with Warnock or Holloway again.

We'd probably end up with Sam bringing us straight back up.

i don't think it is certain we will go down , but it is looking more ,likely each week . However the fault isn't with Big Fat sam but with the inheritance of pardew. If we are going to stay up we need people who will fight , Benteke looks awful and townsend was largely poor with sako and campbell both playing better. The problem is spirit & the lack of . we've bought european football ambition players for a relegation scrap, and they don't know how to handle it it seems .
Fryers might not be premiership quality but neither it seems is kelly , so really the question for the moment at left back is who is less rubbish . ledley was uncontrolled and at moments unaware of the ball.
Cabaye actually seemed to give it a go & gets stuck in , for us to have 6 passes between our back 4 .

Grit & spirit will spirit us away from relegation, otherwise we are down.

Benteke and Townsend are a waste of money. Benteke is no better than Murray and Townsend to Bolaise.

Just watched the press conference. Sam looked utterly fed up . I mean I know he's not the most cheerful looking of people but there was nothing positive , inspiring or upbeat in his tone whatsoever. I think he has taken this on and only now has he realised what a tough task he has on his hands. At the moment we are still in safe territory . My fear is if we drop into the relegation zone with it will come a beaten defeatist attitude from the players. Their heads will drop even more and we won't recover

Ok we missed the new manager bounce as we should of put Watford away and we hoisted the white flag as we often do against tha Arse but the lack of fight tonight is hard to take. I can handle going down but let's see some fight. I was expecting a few nerves tonight but the tension we seemed to bring on ourselves was surprising, and Swansea can pass a ball around and took full advantage of our lack of anything. We need to sort out the full back problem so quick as every team in the land knows exactly how to get at us but can it make enough of a difference to this team I have my doubts. Sam has a real test here that's for sure. COYE FIGHT

Got to be honest. I was pro-Pardew and certain that we would be OK last time I posted. The defeat to Swansea in Wales was the tipping point for me with Pardew, and I thought he should have gone then. This defeat to Swansea at Selhurst was the first time that I have really felt that we might be playing Championship football next season.

However, we are not the 18th, 19th or 20th team in the division, we are just playing like it. Sam has kept some real dross up in the past, and he can do it again here. I must admit that I feel slightly alarmed at how little things have changed since Pardew left (a late goal after having dragged ourselves back into it is a case in point), but we might just need a thumping cup win to get us going again.

Miraculously we haven't been in the bottom 3, so hoping it can stay that way? I think BFS can turn it around, we are lucky we got him when we did,but surely he has to bring in his own back room staff?? All that bench apart from Millen who I feel also needs to go are Pardews yes men!
And the notion if we go down we will come back stronger is just not the palace way,we go down we stay down for years, look at previous relegations, going down is not an option, hence the hiring ofSam

We didn't have serious financial clout last time. This time we have. Serious clout at that.
