We should have stayed with him giving our FULL backing, but no..lets hit the panic button..Alan, no matter what you say, was putting us right..It takes time..but people want instant results..so you get your wish, and now.. we are in a mess, no mistake about that. Now 'Sam the Sham' is here..and what..we, out of 3 games haven't won ! I fully expect you will scream that Alan has doomed us...bull.. there is more then half the season left..is 'Sam the Sham' the 'savor' for us ? I don't think so..but time will tell.. Now, the players I think are NOT happy, with the switch, as once more, it's all being turned around again.. True, some of them didn't like Alan perhaps, because he took away their toys, and they couldn't get their own way..I don't have to name them, as we have all seen a remarkable improvement in those individuals playing.. I fully expect the coach's to get the mighty heave, and 'Sam' to bring his best mate from Leicester, and who ever else he wants..lets just wait. Unless of course he was telling the guy sitting next to him at the game to warm up the car, because 'we are out of here'... Jeez - when Alan came in we started to win and I agree it was brilliant.

I'm afraid I'm with Cockney Rebel. Pardew did have to go, and maybe sooner than he did. But only on results alone. I too believe he would have sorted it. However, the panic button was pressed at totally the wrong time. I personally have no confidence in Sam at all, but that's just my opinion. He is trying the same things Pardew did with his substitutions and formations etc,(and got slaughtered for), and it's not going to work. A thing that alarmed me about Sam was when questioned about Rooney playing deeper in an interview after an England win, and he said 'he is Wayne Rooney' he plays where he likes' or words to that effect. Maybe the same can be said about Andros (I sulk if I can't play on the right and cut in and have a shot) Townsend. Bench him like Pardew did, or ship him out! I thought he was a replacement for Bolasie. Get down the left wing, as you're left footed, and get a cross in for god sake! No, we have to swap Zaha's position (who has put in some fantastic effort in) and watch him suffer and get frustrated. I am of course going to give Sam time, but some of that may be in the Champonship after seeing our last two games which have been tactically aweful. I know we have the Pardew out brigade who just won't have anything good said about him, but I am more worried now than I have ever been since being promoted.
