Hull away. Always thought he deserved 15 games into the new season for saving us in season one and FA Cup the next.

Backed Alan to the hilt but that game for me his time was up.

Some time in early April for me.

I always thought we were a bit daft in calling the geordies deluded. It was unlikely they all took a random, irrational dislike to him without any justification. But then I have a good friend who supports them so perhaps he made me biased.

Pardew for me fostered a culture at Palace that was going the same way as the one he left behind at Newcastle. It just didn't feel that nice.

The proof of the pudding will be where he goes from here and what he achieves. I fancy him to go to Norwich and make a very good start there.

Interesting question. I think he'll go to Rotherham and get them relegated. Alternatively he might go to Villa to carry on dropping Jedinak,

Losing 1-2 to Liverpool last season. Showed his poor game management. The cup run simply masked some real problems.

Obviously had doubts after last season, but was willing to start afresh..

But the WBA game on the first day of the season showed that nothing had really changed. Not only did we get Pulis'd, the performance was so flat from start to finish, and if anything - we looked like we had a weaker team.

Otherwise, West Ham at home. They were there for the taking and we were woeful again.

-------------------------------

Benteke was actually quite close to making us look good wasn't he, it's funny how one goal can make a game appear different although the performance is exactly the same isn't it.

..so you mean when Alex McCarthy cleared the ball straight at the Liverpool player giving him the opportunity to easily level the scores in a game that before then we had 100% domination and the one where the ref decided that Delaney had fouled that attacker in the very last second to award them the winner, do you mean that match? ..because you're right Pardew was to blame for all of that and he should have been shot after it the silly fool he was.

First half performances against Watford at home and West Brom away last season on the back of what was already a poor run shortly followed by the 1-2 at home to Liverpool. Thought he'd taken his eye off the ball, the players looked unfit and was starting to lose the plot.

Accepting that he wouldn't be going having got to the cup final then the West Ham game at home. Looked like nothing had changed and the slide would continue.

Fa cup final without a doubt.

..yes, Pardew should never have paid that ref to behave in that way and what right did he have to go and make Puncheon score, Pardew was such an idiot.

Just another of the many games we were doing well in despite the ref, and failed to close out.

Agreed - if we hadn't had a successful cup run to mask the dreadful results and performances he would have been gone after we were mathematically safe last season

I had doubts towards the end of last season and felt he should have gone after the FA cup
