And that was working so well. Can't believe someone who was considered good enough to manage England is not considered good enough for palace... Well that doesn't say much considering Pardew has also been favourite for the England job numerous times. And I don't think using the word "scum" for Allardyce is harsh, has everyone forgotten that slimey turd in the undercover video?

Personally I thought the moment we had Pulis, we'd be staying up. Defensively sound choice, given we were three months into a relegation battle, and had nothing to lose. Big Same - I don't mind his style of football. Its not pretty, but its a damn site better than condceding 5 against Swansea or three against Hull...

Yeah that ended well didnt it. Kept us up which looked impossible at the time. Right now and in May I couldn't give a sh1t as long as we're in the prem. Tackle Sam's exit when it happens as Parish has always done remarkably well. The Mackay problem wasn't his making.

Yeah that ended well didnt it. Fairly well, 13th place finish, first time ever staying up in the league and a manager of the season trophy and we effectively got him for free (maybe even less actually) following the court case. And we stayed up despite his walk out, and finished 10th.

Pardew is still probably a better choice than Southgate for the England job. He's just lucky he doesn't have to play any proper teams in proper games until 2018 in Russia.

Please do it, would be so funny watching them wet their panties. So long as it doesn't actually happen, he's the man to take them back down into the Championship.

This is a perfect scenario for BFS and for us. He needs to bury the England debacle and will be keen as mustard to make this salvage a success. We have a good attacking team with crap ability to defend. BFS won't need to improve the defending at the attack's cost - as Pardew need not have which is why he's gone. This squad is too good to go down so a perfect marriage. BFS for 2 seasons then a Mancini... COYP!
