..they both should have been fined by the club for their behaviour towards the chosen one, are you suggesting then that the chosen one is actually not the chose one? He is not special any more. Players can get a manager sacked if enough of them want him out Chelsea have done it twice.

As much as I hate Pardew, don't see how he can be blamed for Townsend being so s***. He definitely didn't coach him to take a free kick like a rugby conversion or to pass the ball to the first man at every cross. He's just an overpaid, useless t***. Need a winger in Jan. LOL, LOL, LOL... Some people just WON'T see it will they? Newcastle's best player last season and plays a blinder for England. Every spot kick last season he'd stick the ball right in the top corner. But now...not Pardew's inability to inspire greatness...NOOOOOO...Townsend has just "decided" to play utter sh1te. LOFL.

Yes, he played well against Montenegro and San Marino (giants of world football) but he might as well not have bothered going on as a sub against Spain (2-0 up, drew 2-2 after he came on). I will also quote what he said on joining Newcastle from Spurs - "Two of the best positions you can play in football are centre-forward and left wing at Newcastle. I've got the chance. I could never turn that down". Note - LEFT wing. But he throws a strop here because we want to play him....on the left! I really don't know why anyone ever bought into him in the first place - I certainly didn't and sadly he has made no attempt to prove me wrong.
Before you criticise someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticise them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes. |

I was happy with the signing, thinking he would bring his England form. Obviously he has not settled. For a 25 Year old he has played for a lot of clubs already. 12 !!!! 9 on loan. Is reminding me of Wayne Routledge. Hopefully he improves along with the team in the second half of the season.

LOFL. ..these are not little boys, in your world they may be but they are fully grown up men, are you suggesting Mr Townsend needs to be motivated to play his football by the manager who he plays for, I actually imagine the players to be motivating themselves to attract personal interest and a feeling of well being from being all together during training and whilst doing so encouraging each other to do this and that on the pitch to achieve the result they all want, I doubt very much Mr Pardew has very much to say in this department because why would Mr Townsend cut his own feet off to spite Mr Pardew and whilst doing so let his team mates down and flushing his own career down the toilet and all his non footballing mates and family thinking ..what are you doing?

He has played well for us..but not a lot, it is in his own interest to perform, if he needs to be told to play better then he is a little bit silly isn't he.

Thought Townsend was doing OK up until he was dropped for the Liverpool match I think for Lee, now he looks like a man bereft of confidence.
