Good shout willo, I've read bollox like he's lost the dressing room, which is clearly not true,we're competitive in every game, no-ones given us a good hiding!! we just needed to stop the flow of goals against, which at least the swansea game forced the issue!! We leaked something like 17 goals in 5 games. That's a hiding.

It really is not hard to see if you allow yourself to see it.

Some good points made on here. I think the key point I was trying to get at is that the way the players responded and took on responsibility suggests the team spirit is there and they're playing for Pardew. He clearly had to take their views on board given the circumstances but still he's not lost the dressing room. He had to take their views on board because his job was on the line. Last chance saloon. And it's rumoured one or some of them took over defending drills. Something wrong there. Maybe not 'lost' as they're still trying to score goals, but that's the enjoyable part of football. But they might've lost confidence in him. How many weeks of making the same errors, picking the same right footed player at LB and hanging him out to dry and risking everybody's premier league career? There's been something brewing for a while. Sacking Ben Garner So please don't claim Pardew knew what he was doing all along because we were going down, no doubt about it. The jury is still out too. Slacken off and we're still in trouble. There's going to be regular runs of 3 games and zero points looking at the fixtures so being 5 points clear is just about good enough.

This is what was reported in the media but this wasn't the case.Of course there was concern about results but as I mentioned the 'Board' were going to be very patient and that he would be given the time to revive our fortunes. I appreciate this is not good news for the 'Anti-Pardew' faction on HOL. Edited by Willo (06 Dec 2016 5.29pm)

Or is it just speculation? Pure speculation. Pure speculation.
