Did you know that Safeway was so called because it was the only (or one of the first) stores to have automatic doors. Presumably it was safer to walk through when carrying heavy shopping. Interesting fact!

Iceland (the store) may well have to revert to Bejams! Iceland (the country) has taken out legal proceedings against the store for their rights to use that name even though they started using it in the 70's.

Too many implications on crockery, pastries etc. The other point is that they actually use the spelling Island, not Iceland. Or are we going to go after the French for creme anglaise and they us for french mustard?
