If Wilf is really good enough for England then that lot are lacking. He wouldn't stand a chance against German, Spanish or Italian defenders. Not saying he shouldn't be picked more that England must be sh1te for him to be.

What's this based on? He's been playing against international defenders for the best part of 5 years now and more than 'stood a chance'.

Don't want to appear "picky" but it was deflected for a corner, something commentators chose to ignore.

He might not be considered good enough to play for the Ivory Coast, so may have to settle for England anyway.

I wish him every success, whatever he decides to do.

Bonne chance, Wilf!

If Wilf keeps up his performance, goals and assists then we can expect some big bids in Jan., especially if we're still struggling.

IC would be brilliant for his development and, if successful, his sale value for Palace. Losing him a while would be a pain up the arse but it would be a terrible decision to hold him back.

He always said HE had a decision to make between England and IC. Perhaps his absence wasn't the snub many assumed.

Erm, that would be 'goal' - singular.

To be fair, Antonio has got 6 goals for W Ham this season, got in the squad but was never given a chance, so it's not just Zaha that's being ignored.

i agree with you to an extent, but this season wilf has been better IMHO than townsend/antonio/chamberlain and on that front deserves an oppotunity to show what he can do around better players in the england set up.

hes started to cut out a few tricks and get a simple ball into the box, which was needed for him to move up to the next pevel as a player.

Better than Antonio ?? Haha.
I will have what ever your on mate.
Antonio has about 6 goals this year after a third of the season , 3 times what zaha got in the whole of last season. I like zaha , but none of ours (dann included) should be in the England squad . Who remembers the ward /puncheon for England threads ?they were funny weren't they

I genuinely don't know what people have been watching this season if they think Zaha hasn't been our standout player and doesn't deserve a call up.

Probably the same people who would like to see Pulis back at the club and believe Hennesey is a good keeper.
