Didn't put a foot or hand wrong, and had a good game for us. Neither goal was his fault or realistically stoppable except by luck.

The defence was utterly to blame for the second, and I suspect a product of tired expectations based on the previous corners, lulling us into a sense of security - it was quite a clever corner really.

But f**king Yaya Toure always seems to score against us!

Totally agree but hasn't Mandanda been criticised for similar goals this season? One poster has stated SM never dived for any of the goals he conceded, did WH for the first? Not having a go at WH but certain posters on here.

One of his best matches for Palace - he certainly earned his corn.

Well done Wayne. Had a fantastic game tonight. Didn't deserve to be on the losing side.

What annoyed me was one of the post match interviews. The interviewer asks Pardew what he thought of WH's performance and Al just brings up how BOTH goalkeepers had great games. Didn't even single out any saves or efforts by his own keeper. It is like he doesn't want to admit he is doing well because he'll want to bring HIS keeper straight back in when the time comes. Give the guy a little credit, build some confidence FFS.

He was world class yesterday. I've always thought he commanded his area better than Jules or Steve but got down far too slowly for shot stopping.

Last night changed me mind - that save off Rooney was as good as De Gea's. I'm not saying he's a touch on De Gea, but there's no reason for Steve to be given the jersey back once he's fit again. It's Wayne's shirt to lose.

In fairness though, they were both class last night. I think Pards was probably trying to highlight how unlucky we were due to their goalie having a great game, rather than accepting that we were lucky because of our goalie having a great game.

As someone who supported Hennessey when he was under fire. I think world class is pushing it. He was very good, as good as he's played for a long time. I can't help but think it's taken longer than a lot of people realise to come back from his injury. I think, this is just an opinion, that was why he had a few mobility problems - dodgy back.

"A few mobility problems" - shouldn't have been playing then.
