Its a difficult point to clarify how much contact is too much contact, when you're not in possession or touching the ball. The whole 'goes down very easily' doesn't make sense, when you consider just how little leverage is needed to put someone, at full pace, off balance. I'm not sold on two of them, but I am pretty certain that one of them was a penalty.

Hmm, £500 an appearance versus a couple of million a year. I'd be down that route rapid.

Had to smile at this:
Supported Palace for over 69 years since the age of 7 and have seen all the ups and downs and will probably see many more ups and downs before I go up to the big football club in the sky. |

Also works for Talksport and is one of the few on there that is worth listening too, always seems fair in his assessments.

I've always wanted to be lenient on Shearer as a pundit but I've lost patience. Sadly he's just not the sharpest tool in the box. 260 goals or not, he's just not up to it. The other person who never favours Palace is Hoddle, another great player, droning away on the Sky commentary. Is that a London rivalry thing?

No. He probably saw a disabled Palace fan and decided we were cursed.
