Bad town planning, only a few tube stations, Croydon is its biggest place, boring surburbia, etc. It's not all terrible but huge swathes of it is pretty dismal. I should know. I lived there for 40 years

If a fan is singing across the platform to a mother set of fans, that won the game, sure, it can get heated..... but it's football, chanting is a common part of the sport.

Obviously if the singing was more expletives and insults then obviously that needs to be taken into consideration - a joke is not always taken as a joke right? Fans should know better... but violence, getting hit over the head from behind is something you can't always prepare for.

But posters on here saying don't be a pussy and fight back? What a cultured lot.

This was once a quality forum....

Just remember the next time you want to sing at the station, have your wits about you & have eyes in the back of your head not a fist.

Or just sing when your at home in the bath

That exactly it KAOS! I was just looking for a bit of support from my own fans and I wish hadn't bothered on this site anyway. All the blokes on here saying it was my own fault are probably the Ones keeping their heads down at the station watching me get bashed up
