He's 'the general', the self imposed ring leader of said HF and as such, should be whiter than white, not get involved in this sort of thing.

Conjecture here but - He's been given permission in the past to stand by the hoardings (not officially of course) but just told to stand there and be a good boy and now he's stepped out of line, this is a huge wrap over the knuckles for the whole HF, the club showing who really is in charge.

I'd guess a fine and a few matches banned from the ground, he needs to stand up and take it like a man.

Lets just hope there's no silly protest like a few seasons back when they refused to sing at the Man City game, making very little difference to the level of vocal support on the day.

surely they just need to speak to the stadium manager to check out his story? Also, was he nicked at the game or retrospectively? If it was at the game it would suggest that there was no permission, or a lack of comms between security staff.

Surprised it has gone to court if he had permission. You can't really judge based on the evidence (or lack of) in the article.

What a complete waste of police and court time , plus public money.

Has all common sense left this world, the club know him, the police know him can't they all just sit down agree not to do it again regardless the informal permission.

Christ on a bike it's not like he robbed an old lady or sold crack to kids. FFS.

Let's not turn this into another 'prick' thread.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

if he gets away with it, someone else will do it and use him as an example, then someone else, then another, next thing, it'll be anarchy, the seats will all be empty and every fan will be on the pitch for fear of being left out. The hf will be staring at an empty stand , the club, nay premiership will crumble and implode

He wasn't nicked at the game. He was allowed to walk back up the side of the pitch back to block b.

it means that no matter what the HF do, they should be allowed to cos they wear black coats and call themselves Ultras and they have a badge for their gang and they saved CPFC and made the world notice us as a club cos they have a drum.
